How do I check what Build I am on and when a new one comes out will I automatically be notified or do I need to run a check somewhere in the software?

When you turn on VDJ you get a message that your software has ben updated would you like to download? (or something like that).
I always wants to it to update so I clicked download. It would be nice if it tell what has been updated or what will be updated to should I select download.
I just clicked download the update but I do not know what has been updated.

I think that if you look here you can find out what's been updated in the latest public build, it's a long thread so scroll down to the bottom;

I would be careful with any updates.
Before going on my working machine I test them on my backup laptop.
In the past I have had problems, it is unclear if it was something I did, or the updates.
Updates come for all types of software.
Last time I updated everything at once..stupid.
When it went wrong I did not know why.
My updates are turned off in the options, and I only update when I'm ready.

It's off topic but I'd be glad to help, I'd need a few minutes to get my decks out of the way, and start my mc6000.
The mc6000 is approx equal to the mk2.
I'd be surprised if we could not sort it out, do you want to try ?
I mean now, in the next 30 min.
