Hello,
This is first post in this forum so forgive me if I'm making an error. I stage karaoke nights where I live and since the recent updates for Virtual dj 8 pro i am no longer able to type in the name of a karaoke file and the song that i use the most appear at the top of the result window - it now means that because i have different versions of certain songs i have to double click and play each one till i find the correct one .... Is there a way to correct this ? or a least go back to the way it was

A Man and His Music
You can use the remix, comment, rating, or title fields to differentiate the track you want. I actually use "This One" in the comment field on some of my duplicates. I never type in the whole name. Some times just the last three letters of the track, and then start to type "This" and the favorite pops up. Of course you will have to add comment to your search fields. Also adding a number to the title, will allow you to choose at a glance.

Rightclick on the column header, select Playcount, sort by playcount, done.
