Topic: pitch slider control inverted on one deck

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hello

I'm Using Virtual Dj 7.4.1 with M-Audio Xponent , I downloaded an update to virtual dj 7.4.6 after I did that I noticed one of the decks had the pitch inverted, this means:
when you move the slider forward it actually slows down the song, the other deck works normally, when you move the slider forward, speeds up the song,
I already went back to the version I was using before with no luck, installed also a different mapper from the controllers page and it stayed the same, I also tried this
script on the config page - mappers: param_invert & pitch_slider, but this actually inverts the behaviour of the two decks, I already tried the xponent with another software on the same computer and it works normally.

Hopefully you can help on this, thanks in advance.

Found the source of the problem, it was a new mapper that I had downloaded from the controller page

this one: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/13462/Xponent_Lighting_v3.html
appears to be from the same guy that made the default definition file but this new mapper version for some reason messed up the other default file and changed this line on the definition file:
<slider deck="4" name="PITCH" inverted="true" channel="1" pitch="1" />
it should be like this:
<slider deck="4" name="PITCH" inverted="true" channel="6" pitch="1" />
a small change made some mess

Just in case someone has the same problem, go to
C:\Users\DJ\Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices
there you will find the default definition file there you can make the changes (copy the file before making any changes)

Cheers.

Fixed in builds ending at .1034 (and higher)

thanks for reporting.
