How can you search songs using the search tab while using a external hard drive...It seams to always go back to my c drive?

In the left hand explorer panel of vdj 8 click on Computer, when it opens select your drive, and navigate to your music folder. Right click on the folder, and select "Set as favorite".
Also select batch, and then "Add to search DB".
That should do it, make sure the hdd is connected prior to starting vdj.
I don't like external hdd as they tend to confuse your computer, as well as having many other disadvantages when compared to an internal equivalent.
