Im tryng to do manual backspin in virtual dj 7.4 (MAC) with xdj r1 i cant to. When i plug another control like hercules it does fine.
When i use xdj r1 with virtual dj 8 le (MAC) it doesnt work too.

Which Hercules model ? Maybe one without a Touch sensitive jogwheel ?
Check in Settings-->OPTIONS for the setting TouchWheelBackspin. It should be to Yes.

djdad - is this option on the R1 or in VDJ? I have had this issue since day 1 of owning my XDJ-R1.
