Hi,
I have an external EQ in my rig as well and want to use the EQ in VDJ as I am now using a controller vs CDs.
My external EQ is 15 band DBX 215
I see in VDJ I can set the central frequency for Low, Mid and High.
On my external the mid-points are 63hz, 630k and 6.3k.
Would it make sense to set the central points in VDJ to 63, 630, 6300?
I know it is all about personal preference but I need a starting point. As again I am using VDJ with a CDless controller and it was set up differently before.

before u make any changes and you probably don't need to u should keep in mind your external eq would be to adjust your overall sound as u wont be moving that eq while djing.
the eq on your controller you will use to adjust the sound for each individual song you play and for mixing purposes ... so as u can see the 2 eq's will be used for different purposes so they do not have to have identical mid points.

What is the spectrum or range on VDJ?
What other central points do you think I should try? The Bass has too big of a variance.
