Topic: Want to subscribe to VDJ 8

Hi...
is going online the only way to upgrade to vdj 8?...what I mean is, can I buy a cd for vdj 8 then install it on my laptops without going online?

How much is vdj 7? I know vdj 8 is $99 usd...
 
You can't buy V7, purchasing V8 pro $299 gives you the option of V7 as a stable backup.

$99 is a controller licence, (not meant for a paid working DJ according to the EULA)
 
What's the difference between the pro ($299) and the plus ($99) aside from you cant use plus if you are getting paid?

Also, im from canada, so how much are they in canadian dollars?

The limitations of + compared to pro, in +

the video output has a VDJ overlay you can't remove
you can't broadcast on Shoutcast or Icecast radio servers
is restricted to the single hardware it was purchased for
As I mentioned + doesn't have a V7 option
+ also limits the addons you can download
And the big one is + software isn't updated (not for free like pro is) you'll get bug fixes but come V8.1 if you want to keep up to date you'll be paying again.

Really? You've paid for a license (albeit a controller one) but don't get updates? Where is this written?
