Hello, I am looking to uninstall VDJ from one computer and then reinstall onto a new machine. Will VDJ somehow know that it has been uninstalled from one machine thus freeing up my second install again? Is there is process to follow? Is it a simple uninstall all properties from the old machine then download and install on the new machine? Any help is greatly appreciate. Also I haven't upgraded to 8 yet. Will I be installing 8 on the new one or will I be installing 7 then upgrading to 8?

You don't have to uninstall from the first machine. Your databases are located on the drives with you tracks, so if you use the same drives, VDJ will see the info. You can copy the VDJ folder from My documents on the first computer to the second computer. VDJ 7 & 8 are two different animals, and each will require a different install. They can be on the same machine, at the same time. However, you have to have VDJ 8, in order to get VDJ 7. They do not sell VDJ 7 separately.
