Hello,
I am long term fan of virtual DJ - I think it provides really state of the art detection and controls while staying very very simple what I really love.
I would love to create an EDM mix but - I dont want to "wait" till the end of every song to make the transition plus there is high probability of making some mistakes which can not be corrected as recording is live only.
Is there anyway I can use VDJ to pre-layer tracks and then just export whole set?
I have been looking around for other tools and tried but non of those could even detect bpm correctly....
Thank you!

You don't have to wait until the end of the song. There are bridges and breaks you can use as mix points can blend out of a song. Look in the Music Discussion forum. There is a sticky for tips on mixing. Also, if you're not a long term DJ, you might want to look into MixMeister for creating a mix.

I'm thinking about this for a while now as well.
Wouldn't it be cool, to just record the control information of a mix like what song, the speed, the volume, the transition start and length. This way you could rerun the mix and do corrections as often as needed.
You could program complete sets "offline" and just replay them while performing life etc.
What do you think?
