Is it possible to use CUE points to set up a seemless loop? VDJ 7.4.2

Since this question is still no response I believe I might clarify a bit :)
OK. Is there a way to set two cue points in a track and copy those track-positions to seemless loop points? (Preferable by script)
Does the loop function use the same "track-position" counter/system as the cue points does?

May anyone in staff answer my question please?

I prefer getting the answers in the forum instead.
That would help anyone else having the same questions or ideas.

What is wrong with the loop function?
Doesn't it work for you?

I don't see why you would like to use CUE points to create a loop?

As far as I understand, loop points cannot be stored, right?
CUE points can be stored.

The answer is no you can't use V8, you're only shooting yourself in the foot by starting up so recently and using V7

What do you mean by that?

In V7 there is no option to save a loop. So better use v8 instead ;-)

There are several reasons why as a recent convert you shouldn't opt of V7 over V8

When updating from V7, you have to rescan everything in V8 it's unavoidable, so starting with V7 you'll be scanning twice
V7 has a bug in it, that mis-scans tracks (cuts off a few 10th of a second from the start sometimes) this throws your V7 cue points out by a few 10ths.
Some scripts are written differently in V8

The more work you do with V7 the more work you'll have to do with V8.

I totally understand your points. And I think you understand my points as well.
I am not the guy who strive for getting the latest stuff up, I value stability and reliability so much more.
For example, I was quite late going to Windows 7, I have always loved the stability of WinXP (as an example)
When I find a software which is stable for me, I stick to it.
I do not want to put myself in situations live risking a crash, silence, or whatever disaster.
I rely on this software (as everybody else) for doing things that other people pays me for.
I play with VDJ8 at home, and I like that's possible to have both versions on the same PC.
