so i thought 8 reads exactly same xml as vdj 7.4 ect.
ive spen countless hours in the past updating my flie info and in vdj 8 they are all back to before i updated but in my rock solid 7.4 perfect.
tried rescan recurse ect in 8 no difference
is there an easy fix

Backup the VDJ8 database and delete. When you open 8 again it will reload from the 7 database. If your media is on an external drive, the VDJ folder that was created holds the database for 8. I don't remember where 8's is in the VDJ documents folder. I am not at my pc right now to check. The reason for the backup before deleting is if the wrong thing is accidentaly deleted.

I tyried to do all you guys have said with 7.5 but I still having to reBPM 50% of the n and have to re log them as 50% or 800 Gigs I'm having to take hours to update my data base to use VDJ for a wedding in 2 days!!!!

A Man and His Music
VDJ 8 has a better bpm engine than 7, and you will have to re-analyze your music. If you have a wedding in two days, I strongly suggest that you use ver 7, as it has been working for you. What new function do you need in 8, that would make you stress yourself out, for a very important gig?
