hey folks...i have question about the akai apc40 mkll - the NEW version:
i used to use the OLD apc40 with dj ReThinks`mapping and definition file - worked more than lovely....but i got the new 2nd version now -apc40 mkll- which is mapped differently...and the LEDs do NOT respond :(
heres the question:
since i am NOT a script/code-pro could somebody tell me what the mapping for the LEDs is now?
it used to be sth like: "LED_A1_green"...and the the vdj action script...but what is it now???
PLEASE let me know in simple terms what it is mapped to now..for example the LED for button "0-BUTTON32"?how is it mapped in vdj8 script?wgat do i have to insert if i want it to be constantly blue and if used e.g. orange and blinking when the deck is active and playing?

The part you are posting is from the MAPPING file. The name of an element (knob, fader, led) is defined in the DEFINITION file. Many of them are native included in Virtual DJ.
In case they changed the hardware you need to create a new, modified DEFINITION to match the new Hardware behaviour.

thx heiko..! as i wrote in the german forum:
the "old" definition file of dj rethink still works - on the "new" apc40 mkll !! - all u have to do is "rename" the buttons/LEDs since they have a new naming now - which they somehow magically got after the last build-update ?!?!?... "(PAD)A1" is now "0-button32" for example...same goes for LEDs "LED_A1_green" is no e.g. "0-LED0" ...all works beautiful somehow..just NOT thje DIFFERENT colrs in the LEDs..i cant get the RGB-codes/actions to work!?!?somehow its natively set to auto-green&orange..?!?!?
