Our band has a member who is DJ. He play samples along with the rest of musicians. BPM is set by drummer. So, while the song is going on , DJ must tap the BPM in order to get along his sample with the actual song.
Can this be done in virtual DJ and how?

On the default skin, on either deck, there is a "TAP" button to use to set BPM. This would have to be done with mouse or mouse pad.
A button on a controller or keyboard key could be mapped also.
Pardon the delay, I looked for the answer, didn't find it right away and then forgot to get back after it.

i use to dj in a bar/club back in the day. we had rock and funk bands come in and i would have samples set to scratch during their sets. not all the time but some. i would use the tap button or just feel it out. it was a blast after a few sets and drinks. just jam along.
