Topic: pro 8 on wego problem with new download

hi all so a couple of weeks ago i bought the wego le controller installed the software and i was off,but yesterday my free trial ended so when i clicked the link and paid the subscription i expected to be sent a serialnumber to enter but instead i had to redownload vdj i then connected the controller and started to play and but the sound is really bad,and i cant seem to find the skin i used that came with the wego le controller the skin dosent bother me but i cant mix with the terrible scratchy stuttering sound,i even disconnected the controller and restarted vdj tried to play song but still have the terrible audio,, any ideas thanks

is there any way i can transfer my new licence i just bought to the origonal djwego le software,i now have 2 icons on my desktop one for the new download of pro 8 and the origonal wego software icon
 
The skin should be in your skins folder. You just need to select it via the config.

VDJ 8 doesn't have a serial number. You simply log in using your forum details (the email address you used when you bought the subscription etc).

As for the bad sound, this is probably due to VDJ audio config settings that need to be changed, or you need to tweak the ASIO buffer size in the WeGO driver.

got everything sorted now apartfrom the crackling sound ive tried changing the buffer no change,with the old software i was using my usb generic sound card it worked no problem icant see anyother audio settings i can change
 
right so think what i need to do is find out how i can apply my new licence with my wego origonal software but i cant seem to do this,i redownloaded the software from my licences page but i stillget the same msg saying i need to upgrade topro as my trial has ended
 
You can't apply a subscriber license to VDJ LE, as that would be version 7 or below, and subs only work with VDJ 8.

As you've got a WeGO, you should be using the audio interface in that, because it's designed for low latency.

If the problem isn't caused by the ASIO buffer being too low, then you'll need to also try changing the ultralatency, overclock or exclusiveaudiaccess via the VDJ 8 config.
 
thanks for clearing that up so i need to figure out the sound issue ill have a look at the settings u described thanks
