I am new to vdj 7.4 video mixing,i use clips with vob format some of them varies with time length from 3 to 30 min,i have some clips when i load them they freez after a while and the audio continue but the image on the projector screen is freezed
2nd,when i load a clip of length 30 min vob format i choose some locations of this clip the screen also freezes and the audio continous normal
3rd the video lags the audio ,the arent synced
I tried othersoftwares like mixvibes i didnt have these problems,its really strange,i have the latest 15 inch macbook pro with 2gig video ram and 16 gig ram,so hope the support help us to solve this issue

did you ever try to convert in MP4 ?
Whatever other software does, 30 min of a vob file is huge.
Anyway... what kind of vidocard do you use ( Nvidia/ ATI ) ??

I tryed some clips with mp4 formats of 4 min there was only delay between audio and image sometimes,yes my video memory is nividia ,i ll try to convert the big files to mp4 format and check thx for the reply

You may have to adjust your memory length (time) also have a look at your frame rate, it should be set at about 30fps, mp4s is what I use for music video but for samples I use hd wmv especially in V7 as they show in clipbank slots without fail, other formats can sometimes just show greyed out squares.
As Rob Says and I have pointed this out before as well, you are using DJ software, you should treat it as such and bring down the time you don't want to be in complete control of your gear and be away from the decks for whatever reason, if you do need to be away more, than employ a second person to look after the decks.
