Hi All,
Has anyone noticed any crashing issues once you start using Content Unlimited? I run a MacBook Pro with VDJ 8. It's been rock-solid...until I started subscribing to Content Unlimited. There's no consistent issue that I can duplicate, but I've noticed an occasional CU song will start to load, then freeze and lock up the entire interface. The music keeps playing just fine, but you lose the ability to control anything. It takes a forced quit (stopping any music) and reload of VDJ 8 to recover. CU seems like a great addition...it comes in really handy. But the crashes are unacceptable. Definitely not what I'm used to with VDJ.

What I do is stop the CUmusic 1st then I eject it off the deck, before I load a 2nd song .Im sure they will fix that like VDJ-7

Each time it has crashed, I haven't been playing a CU song. It crashes while the CU song is loading into a deck. The waveform starts to write, then the whole interface freezes. If I load a CU song and it loads all the way, it works fine. Perhaps Atomix might consider writing a safeguard into the code that keeps the CU song in a buffer until it completely downloads, then dump it into the chosen deck? That way, if it falters, a message can pop up to let the DJ know to try again or pick another version, without interfering with the overall operation.

Do a BPM analyzing first after loadload before you load the track onto a deck.

please do first download into cache before loading into a deck

Cool. I'll try loading to the cache first. I've been doing that after I find a version of something I like, but not before. I'll repost if that doesn't fix it. Thanks again.

I been having the same problem. I just got a new Macbook Pro after using my Dell Latitude E 6400 for about 2 years. This is annoying but I will try doing everything it says here.
Another thing, I tried a "Machack" that I saw on a website consisting of disabling App Nap (application that is supposed to save battery life but it does so at the expense of running programs like VDJ). Well it did not work. : (
