If your on a Mac I'd say try "iMovie", it's super easy to use and if your on windows try "Windows Moive Maker", again it's nice and easy to use!!

last "promotional video" I made was with this one software (you might have heard of it) called Virtual DJ.
used EV and other plug-ins to make it, recorded it all together in VDJ and then it got used ONCE at work so I got pissed (the American "pissed" not the British version)and deleted it.
