Hi all... ok, so on v7 I always was able to change my waveform view on every skin (at least most of them?) so that it would separate each side (left = 1/3 - right = 2/4). On v8 it seems like the only way I can even separate them is on the horizontal scratch setting or something like that, where one is on top of the other. I want it so that on the left side there is a left waveform, and the right side there is a right waveform. When you switch decks, the waveform changes color... left side blue turns to green, etc.
The only way I have been able to do that so far is to change to the "Midnight Blue" skin, which has all 4 of the waveforms as separate instances. And I would love to use that skin exclusively, but it is missing the song's "key" in the deck, which is vital for the way I mix (I use a lot of acapellas, do a lot of live remixing), but want to be able to switch to other skins as well, since some of them are really great (I love Tayla Made Video as well).
Please, if ANYONE KNOWS THIS, I will.... I will.... be very happy.

I would assume you just need to add in the Song key xml value to the midnight blue skin xml file Perhaps find the corresponding line of code in a default 4 deck skin and copy over to the blue skin xml file. You may also need to add an image to the blue skin image file for the song key code to reference as well. Not sure if I've explained that well enough but I'm pretty sure what you want can be done !
p.s you would need to change the coordinates of the song key code to reference the location of the new image though !

If Midnight blue is only missing a couple of details, I'd put a request in to the skins board. The skin maker may tweak the skin or someone can help you to tweak it yourself.
Adding key info is really quite simple.
If you post a screen shot of where you would like to to see this info, help shouldn't take too long.

Looks to me as if there's enough space between the track time/bpm and the songpos circle on each deck.
You could have a nice big bold Camelot key in there.
EDIT: Here you go. How's this? Didn't take long.

I personally don't like using Camelot keys, but that is actually perfect. And I have a huge tech background, so I know exactly what you mean with the xml files. I can't believe I didn't think of that before. I guess I just figured that it was somehow hardcoded into a skin file.
And I did ask in the skin's thread I think... either way, this should sort me out on that end. Now I just have to check the status of my other question (apparently the email subscription notification doesn't like me lol)
Thank you guys so much!! This really helped me a ton!
