Topic: Upgrade from Pioneer XDJ-R1 to Vestax VCI-400?

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi all! I've been using my Pioneer controller with VDJ8 for a while now and love it to bits. However, I'm getting a bit restless! The Pioneer is great at what it does, but I'm not using all the features it provides; I don't use the CDs or USB (except for an LED Light!), and It is a bit large to carry around.

I really like the size of the Vestax and its fantastic configuration possibilities, along with the solid build and decent jog wheels. I can live without booth and record outs on the controller.

I am a bit reluctant to make the swap as I don't know what the sound quality/reliability is like, its been around a while, and a quick search on VDJ forums doesn't seem to turn up much chatter about it. Does this mean it is not favoured among those that know better?

If it is a no-no, what other options would you suggest? I really want the configuration options, along with balanced outputs and decent mic/scratch/build.....

Not much, I know!!!! ;-) Your comments and suggestions are very welcome....

Some guys in the german forum use this controller. I have never heard of problems with it and the soundcard is pretty decent.
So it could be a good alternative. But as always, try to get your hands on it before buying it makes a huge difference.

I.E. I never thought the Numark 4Trak was good looking or even interessting for me until I was lucky to see one in the wild.
After that, I nearly bought one, ... but then there was the SX :)

I use this controller and I love it, the sound is real nice with 7 &8..a lot of control I mean aloy
