THE NAIVE GENTLEMAN FROM HARRISBURG: I was down to Atlantic City this week for the DJ TIMES EXPO in Trump's Taj Mahal Convention Center. Thanks go to Virtual DJ Software for sponsoring me again this year.
Last night Wednesday instead of having the Master of Ceremony competition at Taj's Club Casbah as done in the past several years, they moved it to a new attached club called Scores.
There is a club named Scores in NYC that is famous as a "Gentleman's Club" I have never been there, but I've seen stories about the place.
The M/C SCREAM competition started to get annoying, so I decided to check out the other end of Scores. On reaching the entrance to another club I asked door girl if this is any connection to the Scores in NYC. She said yes. Only THIS club is bigger.
There was no cover charge, so hey what the heck. I went in.
The club's decor was done very nicely with cool lighting, a decent sound system, and a young lady in the middle of the club pole-dancing in the minimum of clothing. I took a seat at the bar.
Not soon after I was served a $14 drink, an attractive young lady in a tastefully revealing gown approached me striking up a conversation. She stroked my shoulder ever so delicately, and eventually asked me "Do you wanna dance?"
I looked around, it was early and not crowded. There were only a few men at the bar. There was no one in the seating area close to the girl gyrating around the pole.
I didn't see a dance floor anywhere, and really didn't feel like dancing at the bar in front of the guys. So I told her NO thanks.
She gave me a pout and walked away. It was only a few seconds when I realized what just happened. She didn't say "Do you wanna dance". She said "Do you WANT A dance". You know a lap dance.
Silly me. I finished my drink and then left to listen to DJ Skribble at the Taj's EGO lounge. He was a little off this year.

Hey Rick, jumped on the boat as instructed, I think the blonde female holiday rep got it wrong, I just read a road sign and it says "Welcome to Mumbai" below that it says Taj Mahal 750 miles.... ooops! can you send a taxi please.

I just sent him a message and he should be on his way.
Unfortunately he has to cross the country, but should arrive soon.
