A few words from the Author :
This Sample pack has the code name 'Project8' as it was created during the beta testing of VirtualDJ 8.

All loops are original creations using Propellerhead Reason (Kong and Redrum Drum kits) and various vst instruments for the synth sounds.

The PC version will instal as a zip in your samples folder. Zip Sample packs are read only at the moment but you can extract manually.
Mac version will extracted automatically, so editing will be allowed.

The downloaded zip file doesnt allow editing with the Sampler Editor. This could be fixed in a next update, but in the meantime, you can unzip the file to a folder and manually edit the xml file with the correct paths to give you the ability to edit the Samples.
 
did i install this wrong? i dl, unzipped it said install successful but i don't see it in my sample bank? im on a mac if thats relevant
 
I have changed the mac installer so now it should install and extract automatically.
Please download and instal again.
Let me know if it works for you.

There is a great feature in VirtualDJ 8 but hidden : The Group mixer.
Good news, you can map it to your controller.
Or try the VirtualDJ Reloaded skin, click on the Master Panel and you will see a tiny group mixer where you can adjust volumes for the 3 group separately : Kick-snare, Hi Hats, Bass and synth.

Can anybpody help me regarding downloading skins or samples i did download some skins and samples, they complete when i try to open them it just says installed complete thanks...

I have a Mac, I installed and unzipped. It said successful and I don't have the sampler anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
Never mind it went directly to the Effects file in Virtual... Sorry and thank you!!
 
Are you sure ? Normally it should go to the Sampler folder.

Hello Friends, all was OK, but after 5 days the Project8 stopped functioning and I don´t know why... :o) Please have someone advise to me ? Thanks
