Numark 4 TRAK is now natively supported in version 8.
Just make sure you run a build that ends at .729 or higher (those are the 3 last digits of the build version and indicate the controller's version). To get the latest controllers version, launch version 8, leave the software running idle for a couple of minutes (depending on your Internet connection speed) and relaunch VirtualDj 8
Note : For those who still wish to use version 7, you will need to use a custom definition (as its not supported in that version).

But now my mapping for the 4Track FX console doesn't work anymore.
I had mapped all 12 buttons as sampler pad.
Now, the mapping works no longer because, as I noted, all 4 filter buttons now can mapping as one.
And the switch on the sampler with the FXMode button per page no longer works.
I used the Devinition file from EdwinAltamiranoVDJ, it worked prima with version 8.
I please there for help I again all 12 buttons and potentiometers solution can do.

You can still use the old custom definition, if you simply rename it as force-whatvernameyouhad.xml and then select your custom mapping file from the list.
Renaming any definition as force-name.xml, it overrides the default one.

It seems to work.
Otherwise I would have to turn off updates.
And I would like to have updates.
I hope it stays that way.
Because I worked long on my mapping until it worked as I want to.
