Greetings. I mix with the up faders and with cross fader disabled. When I'm crafting a mixtape I'll organize a playlist then carefully adjust the gain of each song so that I can slam the up faders up all the way without kicking in the limiter. I keep the limiter set at on plus remember. I trust the limiter but unless I back down the gain, pushing the up faders all the way up always kicks the limiter in. This is a problem for me when I'm mixing on the fly, without a playlist of songs, that have already been gain lowered by me. My question is whether I can tweak the up faders so that the all the way up position correlates to a lower max volume? In otherwords can I back the max up fader volume down in the settings? I really like the feeling of slamming those up faders up to the stop but don't want to run in the red.

If your Audio Setup is Master+Headphones, then you could probably lower the software Master Volume a bit.
