Why do so many use Mac books for Djing. I have two Asus g73jh laptops and G75VW Laptop and found that they all out weigh any benefits the Macs may have IE: Restriction on upgrading parts. also seems that more problems are being reported from Mac users using VDJ 8.

If you dont need a Mac.. Don't get one..
I got a mac because I need a new laptop and had many windows laptops - I wanted to try something different. To me it is just another computer.

Try some Projection Mapping with your PC......

Well it's now possible with VDJ and Resolume on a PC Thanks to Scott but before this you couldn't it. Also drivers are always a problem on windows where as on a Mac you don't really have to worry about that to much. And then it depends on what software your running, example, VDJ on a PC is smooth as silk where as on a Mac it's no where near as good when it comes to VDJ. Plus on the PC side I find there always sending out updates which can screw things up on a Mac I haven't had anywhere near as many update.

Not saying one is better then the other but they both have their pros n cons like everything in life.

Let's not start kicking this dead horse again please.........

Thanks for your replies. As its a discussion forum and a genuine question of interest for my benefit I just keeping the keeping the Nag alive. As fore- mentioned there are processes which Laptops and VDJ can now achieve .
