I used to run a cable from mixer out to laptop mic and use the record program in windows to record a file of whoever was singing. What i want to do is the same but have VDJ8 record the track or voice sample from the mixer using the mic input....
I have played around with some options etc but only get chance when i have my mixer setup which is usually when working.... and dont get much time to play. Has anyone done this if so what settings in VDJ8 did you use and the audio config please?

Bumped your thread, so others can take a look. Is this the same laptop, that is running VDJ, at the same time?
