Topic: Hardware question, advice needed!

Hi there,

I am running a virtualdj pro on my Stanton DJC.4 controller with only one problem. I cannot properly control the effects.

The controller has three FX knobs on each side, and an FX selection encoder dial. However, I have remapped the 3rd FX knob to control a VST plugin, "qb_filter". This knob sits at 50%, and controls a high/low pass filter that is a million times better than the standard VDJ filter.

The issue with this is that I cannot use any other FX while the plugin is active, and to deactivate/reactivate every time I want to use an FX is really time-consuming and interrupts my flow considerably. If i do not deactivate the filter, the third slider of the FX i want to use is instantly set to 50%!! - which on the echo is feedback (i think)... you get the picture.

So the question,

Is there a way to change the mapping code to isolate the FX knob to the VST plugin only....

or...

should I buy a new piece of hardware to plugin alongside my controller to control the FX.

If i need a new piece of hardware, please suggest a no frills, USB compatible system.

Thanks for reading

Effect_slider 3 1 should do the job i think...

can you elaborate on that please, im not too good with code mapping.

"effect_slider 3 1" does nothing
