I just downloaded version 7. I have gone thru the manual. Could someone let me know what the icon to the right
of the magnifying glass on the search bar does and maybe when and how to use it. Thanks everyone.

I guess you are referring to this one.
This is to log unsuccessful searches. So imagine you search for a song and you don't have it in your database. You can click this button and then what ever you searched wil be added to a text document (MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/SearchLog.txt). This enables you at a later time to open this text document and purchase these songs in time for your next gig.

That is the one I wanted to know about. I have already went to my documents folder and where i tapped
the button a few times, the songs are there. That is a great feature. Thanks for your help. I looked twice in the manual
and did not see anything on it, but I could of passed right over it.

In Version 8 there is a setting options where the search is automatically added to that document if no results are found - without having to press the button. ;-)
