Guitar Center told me flat out they will not be a participating store. My other close retailer Sam Ash is participating but the sales rep knew too little about it to give me a trade-in value over the phone.
I would like a NS72, especially with version 8 being so close.

Well let me see: if Sam Ash, across town is participating, and they are selling them left and right, I'll bet Guitar Center will re-think their position. Unless they don't have stock. Also, let's think about this further. This is a great deal. Ask yourself, why would they make such a deal? Are these units, not selling? Do they have a new unit coming out, and need to get rid of them?

Its a common request at this level of unit that their is a clearly defined upgrade path. Numark has listened to this request.
