Make sure in the setting were it says Jog Mode, reads Vinyl, sometime it will say CD/Vinyl.remap the Vinyl button on your controller for both players.

they are on vinyl.....I can eventually scratch...and for a while...but at time...it freezes up, as well as spikes my cpu usage...which I know is a whole other problem

here's a list of my features

https://db.tt/GnXzpLk3

also, it's only on the right deck and does it on multiple computers and without other usb items plugged in

also I've done everything on the common issues page...even wen tot Ethernet cord for access tried it without internet access (which I PAID FOR AND DO NEED). it's a funny thing this right deck is...as a sidenote I have an IDJ3...it does it with that one as well

It certainly points to the problem being with the Numark hardware.

Does it on multiple computers
Only on the right platter
Another unit does the same

went to and called Numark....got updated driver for N4, but, as a lot of people know, the IDJ3 is not supported anymore and the drivers have loading issues...it still works as a plug and play but any updated or older drivers will not load properly

I fixed the problem guys....here's what happened....

I had a belkin 7 port powered usb hub that I didn't plug in....I only used it as the usb. I also have a powered LaCie external hard drive plugged in. both sat near (not next to) the right platter. I removed the usb hub for a 4 port Targus hub, and moved the external away from the platter. I also changed the outlet that the external was plugged into, just to be sure. Had to restart VDJ a couple of times, but on the third try, the platter works fine. Havent had an issue since the fix. Thanks to everyone.
