Topic: Auto Play

Is there is way when using any DJ controller, to send tracks from your folders to the Auto Play column and also active the Auto Play button after you have loaded all the tracks, without using the mouse and keyboard. I have the Pioneer DDJ SX controller.

Sure, but you have to map some buttons yourself.

The actions would be:

playlist_add: adds the selected song in the browser to the playlist

automix: to start or stop the automix.

What command would I use to add the folder to the auto play instead of the single track?
 
There is no action to copy a folder into the playlist.
However you could select all the tracks of a folder with ctrl + a and the press the "playlist_add" button.

Hello, Could any advise on what 2 buttons on the Pioneer DDJ-SX I could use to map for the auto play , I just mix music I don't use all those pads etc.
 
Hmmmm I believe the Grid Adjust and Grid Slide are two buttons that you can change easily if you don't use them
