I really do not know what is wrong but I did the same work for my windows 8 laptop same settings and things I did for my vista but for some reason on my windows 8 it will install then launch and work but if I close the program and try to search it again it is as if it never installed and when pinned to task bar it says there is a error with the install I don't have anything that should hinder it from installing or staying installed the only thing I got is avast witch I have on my vista PLEASE HELP I want to be able to DJ again my vista is too laggy it just spikes unfortunately
