VDJ doenst have an iPad dj app as of yet but there are a few other ones out there, I have installed 3 of them and they each have good and bad points. So Im wondering what is working for others. Im not sure any of the apps are ready for large club use, but for smaller gigs they could be useful.
I've got the mixtrack edge which is about the size of an iPad and it works with 2 of the programs it all seems to work ok at home, Im just not sure if its ready for any of my smaller gigs

DJPlayer is good for ipad.
Cross DJ by Mixvibes is brilliant for Android.
Used both of them for small gigs with a mono splitter and they've worked flawlessly.
Not to worry though, VirtualDJ version 8 will be iOS compatible when it comes out.

I prefer Algoriddim's Djay 2. It is easy to handle and imports my iTunes library.
I also have a Griffin mono-splitter to combine it with my DDJ SX.
Works fine.

I use my iPad mini as a backup device.
MixVibes has a good ios app too.
