Topic: Skype across the pond for St. Patty's

Hello fellow DJs. I have a bar in the States that is interested in setting up the opportunity to Skype with some of the Bars in Ireland during St. Patrick's Day. I thought it would be fun for a little intercontinental partying! Any DJ in Ireland interested in trying to make this work? And...has anyone tried it before?

Hopefully some Ireland djs will see this before its too late
 
Hit up the VDJ Facebook group...some may check there more than the forums.

I need help with virtual DJ software. when I play the music to long the sound stop even though the music is playing.

can any one help me with this problem
 
carino4 - Why have you posted your question here?? IT has no relevance to the thread at all!!

Please search the forum for a similar topic or start a new one where some may be able to help. You will need to offer some more information also (in another thread) regarding your setup. e.g. soundcard, controller, system etc etc
 
Recently I did a 50th for a woman and her husband.
Small town with a priest with a following who since retired to Hawaii.

We skyped him in and with the ipad camera he was able to see and address the whole crowd and the GOH.
He gave the blessing and with the goa seated in front of the screen carried on a memorable conversation with her and her husband.

It was pretty cool to have it actually work as intended.
