If i sign up for audio so as to cache the music for playing later, can those tracks be transferred to my second machine and be played or will it only work on the machine it was cached on?

You can copy your cache to your other machine. However, you can only have one machine connected to content unlimited at a time.
 
Thanks, so i could copy it o my backup machine and it would be available to play if i needed my backup ( when not connected to net)
 
They will still have to be re-authorized every 30 days, by connecting to the net. Try it out, and see what happens.
