Hi Guys,
Not sure if anyone else is feeling the same as me but i would like to know, what are the stumbling blocks (if any) are for getting a droid remote app for VDJ.
I've been watching development on this for a while (before i was a pro user) and it seems to be the same case across all developers that have undertaken this task. The case being, that the project just die and there seems to be a lack of desire to create this app for the droid platform. Seems a waste (i think) for the developers undertaking this task to put their time and not get to a completed stage.
So, it's probably been 4-5 years that the talk of a droid app has been on the cards and still no sign of an app.
I'm not looking for a remote desktop connection to my laptop for this and i've been looking at the Touch OSC stuff but not made any headway and i'm a little reluctant to install additional software on my laptop. Want to keep the installed software to the bare minimum.
Is there a reason for this?
Is there a particular stumbling block each developer is hitting?
Can i or anyone else do anything to get this project moving again or even finished?
Is there anyone else looking for the droid app? or is it just me?

The iOS one hasn't been updated in years and still doesn't offer browser functionality, so based on that I wouldn't hold your breath .....

Decided to make another tryout...
Made shortcuts in VDJ:
ctrl+alt+shift+đ - automix
ctrl+alt+shift+ž - playlist_randomize
ctrl+alt+shift+ć - automix_skip
Made autohotkey script:
LBUTTON:: sendinput !^+đ ;START STOP
MBUTTON:: sendinput !^+ž ;RANDOM
RBUTTON:: sendinput !^+ć ;SKIP
Instaled PRemoted server on laptop and PRemoted apk on my android phone. Started VDJ and shortcuts are working over the keyboard. Then started PRemoted server and connected it with apk on my android phone. Started autohotkey script, but... It cannot reach VDJ. Somehow VDJ stays out of the focus.
Tryout 2: Right-click on MP3 song: Open with VirtualDJ. Started PRemoted server and connected it with apk on my android phone. Browsed with it through the PC stuff, found some MP3, started it... Virtual DJ opens and... NADA. Just staying there, doing nothing. There wasn't even a song in deck. Is it even possible to start a song in VDJ that way?
