I just finished the installation of my new toys. They seem to be working very well with VDJ. I have just stumbled on my first issue. The issue I am having is the equalizer on the DJM 900 adjust both channels rather than just the one I want to adjust. Any work around with this. First issue is on the software it shows the opposite channel than the one I am controlling, and the second issue is it actually changes both channels no matter which one I use.

Thanks

I would not midi map the mixer other than the the up faders and cross fader if you do video. As for the decks on the wrong channels go into mappers in vdj and there is a little button that you can select which deck to which channel or you could try pressing the eject button on a deck to change them over. Hope this helps.

The fader works correctly from left to right - the problem is the equalizer section. Not sure now if it isn't an issue just with the software showing the wrong information and the eq issue is with the way the DJM is set up.

Still would appreciate any help.

Thanks

have you midi mapped the eq

I have the same problem with my mixer DJM2000

You have a real mixer. You do not need to control the VDJ "virtual" onscreen mixer.

Maybe because it's fun to see the knob move on the screen display as they move the real knob from the mixer.

A lot of vdj users use (looks for) a skin that is a replica of their controller for this same reason.

For examplethis is nessesary when mixing on VdjRadio !

I think I am going to go with just the crossfader midi mapped, and wouldn't be doing any of it if I wasn't doing video. Just would be nice for it all to show up on screen
