I did this mix a little bit ago and have made one since but have not mastered it yet. I think VDJ froze for a second on this one but other then that I would really really appreciate some feed back on this one please.

Hey Wren,
I had a listen to your mix and I can see that you are trying some pretty tricky things. You're trying to mix different styles of music and that isn't easy in my opinion.
I noticed that you're not really blending songs together, you're kind of fading out track A with some filtering and fading the other in - but it's really noticeable. Ultimately you would want your blend to be as unnoticeable as possible but that comes with practice.
Points for having a crack at it though, like I said what your trying to mix isn't easy to do.
I think that you may need to zero in on a particular genre of music as it will be easier to practice the basics of beathmatching, phrasing and EQ's. These three things will really help you put some really solid mixes together.
