My friend recently sent me stems of his new song as .mp3 and Virtual DJ isn't too happy about it. After loading the tracks onto the decks and letting them load, the playback goes horribly wrong. All white noise from start to finish on all the stems. I opened the stems in FL studio and iTunes; those programs seem to be working just fine with the files and Virtual DJ has no qualms with any of my other files.
Suggestions?

They should be 16 bit 44.1kHz (CD standard) to play properly.
Your files are probably 24 bit.
