Hey guys, I've been trying to figure out the best way to operate my sound equipment when DJ'ing. I have two mackie thump 15's, and two Behringer Eurolive B1800D subwoofers. I am also using a Behringer MX1604 mixer. I'm fixing to order all new speaker cables, etc. but I was wondering, before I placed my order, how would you guys run your sound?
Currently I run it like this
Computer ----->
Numark Mixdeck ----->
(RCA Master Out on Mixdeck) ------>
Behringer MX1604 ------->
(Behringer 1/4 Inch Master Out) ---->
Mackie Thumps
I run my subs out of the CTRL-R 1/4 outputs on the mixer.
Please let me know the best possible way to run my system! Thanks everyone!

personally id buy a usb external soundcard, i fully hate the audio from numark products, it just sounds so hollow and washed, out, but each to their own.

They don't all use the same guts for everything. My Denon 5500's didn't sound anything like the Denon 6000, and I had a numark mixer with a soundcard that sounded like crap compared to my ns7 and I haven't done an A B on my new ns7 ii vs the old, but the new one sounds pretty good on my studio monitors. My NI audio 8 didn't sound noticeably better then the Numark NS7. Have you heard the mixdeck vs something else? What do you recommend?

I would come out of the mixer's master XLR to the sub. Then come out of the sub to your full range speakers. You can send a full range signal to the tops or just the mids and the highs. This way, you do not have to have the same length of speaker cable. So 25 to 50 foot length to the subs, and only 5 to 10 foot to the tops. The XLR will give you less signal noise.
