Hi can anyone please help with this problem I have. When I add all my music to the vdj data base its not saving it, When I come out of virtual dj and open it again there is no music in the data base. Also when i've added to the data base and I try searching for a song it crashes all the time, This has only started happening today. My virtual dj has been fine for all this time it does not make any sense to me at all to why its doing this. I've just added songs to the data base again and shut virtual dj done opened it back up tried to search for a song and there is nothing there wasn't doing this yesterday.Now if i try searching for a song it doesn't respond and crashes please help if you can Gary.

About not saving the Search Database...
There could be a disc/folder permission issue. Please see here..

If you are getting any crashes, freezing while searching, then there might be some bad songs or folders.
First try this..
Open VirtualDJ, goto CONFIG->Browser tab, select the Hard Drive that contains your music files, and perform Check, Clean and Fix with that order.
Do that for all your Hard Drives that you may have added to your Search Database.
It is important to backup your database, prior doing the steps above.
If this doesnt work (still getting crashes), then remove the database files from VirtualDJ folders, and launch the software with an empty database.
Then start adding one by one folders, and test Search after adding one. See if you can locate the bad folder or bad files that way.
PS. In VirtualDJ folder (MyDocumantes/VirtualDJ), you will find a txt file named as Crashguard report. Open it with Note pad or similar Text Editor and post the content of the file here.
