Hello Im looking for people that use drum machines. Roland sp 555 is what I use. What do you use in your set up?

Mikro Maschine, Akai LPD8.......
 
Currently using Akai MPD32.

I used my Roland DR-880 before but the pads are too small, where precision on timing is kinda hard.

I might have the Pioneer SP1 next month or at least before Christmas.

Did all your controllers come mapped or did you have to make a definshion file? I have done some things with simple midi mapper but i dont think it is the best thing for me. Any one know of a good youtube clip explaneing how to make a definishion file? Thank you.
 
i have 2 midi fighters, one 3D one Spectra, I made mappings for both, I think I need to update those on the site now that I think about it. I mainly use the Spectra for VDJ, cues, effects, loops, clip launching yadda yadda, and the 3D I use with ableton to play live
 
I would love a midi fighter i wonder if there is a way to 'trick,
my roland 555 16pads into a midi fighter mapping?
 
you would just modify secrets definition file to match the information your roland sends...
 
I would love too, I am haveing a hard time understanding how I would do that.
