Hi to all,
I've installed the lastest vdj version 7.4 on a macbook pro i7 bootcamped with win 7. The software runs very well. My only issue so far is that when I search for a song such as L O V E by natalie cole, by adding spaces in between the letters I get 29000 search results. In the previous versions it would narrow down the search and find the song. I'm searching in folders, drives, title, artist, filepath, filename, and comments. And I've added my external hard drive to the search database.
Is this a bug or have I overlooked something?? Any suggestions??

The search method was changed in a previous version to make it more universal.

Searching the web shows that it's more commonly written as L-O-V-E, so you could change it to that. Alternatively, what I tend to do with things that can be written in different ways is to add the variations to the comment tag.
So in this case I would add the word love, and then maybe l.o.v.e. and so on.
Of course you could also just add the word love to the title, so call it Natalie Cole - L O V E love

Try searching for: "l o v e"
Using "" makes the search explicit.
