another mac question lol,
my system
asus p6t motherboard
intel i7 920 2.67ghz quadcore
12gb corsair dominator 1066 ddr3 ram
750gb wd 7200 hdd for os
320gb extra space hdd
1tb seagate momentus music drive. (thought it was fat formatted, but its not its ntfs :( .. )
all hdds are sata
the issue im having, i can play music fine from my main hdd, but when i try to play music from my music hdd, it cuts out every 3-5 seconds for a 1 second pause..
any ideas? i gotta iron out all these creases i got a gig coming up next month.

My guess would be it's caused by the drive being NTFS. Either format it for Mac or use FAT if you need to read it on PC too.

ah forgot about the mac forum, being that ive never had the need to use it lol
its a purchased version of osx on a none mac computer. although my system is compatable as it runs fine and has supported kexts for all the hardware i have, but i refuse to shell out thousands for a machine with apples logo on it, with a lot lower spec than the custom build i have, but costs 4 times the price. when it cost only £14 for the OS in the first place.
as with any system tho, im runing into a few problems, if all the creases iron out then ill be more than happy
im going to have to move my music from my hdd and re format it to fat i think, i cant use osx journaled as i want to use it on pc also. and cant use ntfs as it seems to be causing issues, i just hope i can find enough storage space be other hdds to cover it.

Harddrives are cheap, just go out and get another. Then format that and move everything on to it.........

i could do with one to be fair. ive got my eye on some 1tb ssd's so hopefully theres enough left in the budget for one or two of those :)
