Has anyone noticed any advantage of a .zip for karaoke over the having the files separately? I would imagine there is some extra processing involved for the software to have to extract the from the zip before playing; but, was wondering what the majority here use.... Any thoughts?

The only advantage is a small reduction in disk space, but that's not normally an issue with the huge hard drives available nowadays.

For me, having it ZIP makes my search a lot better, cleaner, right on the spot.
Blurred Line zip will result in LESS clattered browser.

This would only be the case if you are searching outside of VirtualDJ.
If you are browsing/searching within VirtualDJ using its browser/database, then it will only show each song once as a karaoke file, regardless of whether it's zipped or not.
