I am having trouble with v7.4 when loading and playing the second player.
I have an HP laptop, i5, 8GB RAM, Windows 7, (2) Denon 3900’s.
While one deck is playing, and I load a track on the second player, the loading track will start loading quickly then slow down to a crawl and the whole UI will quickly flash.
After the track loads, the cue points and the waveform will quickly flash for a few seconds. Meanwhile the music will continue as normal on the active player, but my hotcues will then be a few beats off of where I originally set them (when playing only one deck, the hotcues remain normal and locked on-beat). If I continue to play, VDJ will then lock up or crash after a few minutes.
One deck playing by itself works great. It seems like two players are using up the laptops resources but I have it fully optimized per the suggestions listed elsewhere on this site, and I also have used PC Optimizer by SuperAceMan with no luck. All of my tracks are MP3’s at 256 or better. Both controllers are plugged directly into the laptop (USB hub not used).
Any idea on the cause of this, or how to correct this problem?
