Fair enough.
Having a problem with signal, sounds like a plausible error.. And I'd love to take a look at the signal and try fix that for you should you want
Do make sure you have 100% signal though, and if playing in extreme loud environment, vibrations from the turnbable (bass sound etc) can ruing the timecode signal. (Can PM me if you still use timecode, since this isnt really a vdj timecode thread.)

Will do when I get home tonight and in front of my gear so I can get you the config settings I have. Gonna be broadcasting tomorrow night also, if you are online, I will get with you on chat. Thx.

Hello all
Getting more back on topic is there anyone else out there that think having
one program to do everything is a bad idea? I like the idea that serato had
two programs 1 for controllers and one for timecode. Maybe it's just me I
strongly believe anything that's trying to do everything well will fail at
something. Let me make this perfectly clear I have been using Virtual DJ
from the time v 2.0 came out I guess you can call me a fanboy of VDJ. By me
being a old cat sometimes all these new bells and whistles our overwhelming
to me . I guess my wife put it in better words than I could ever do . I
just bought her a brand new car with all bells and whistles and the first
thing she said to me was baby I love the car but all I really needed was a
gas pedal and a steering wheel sometimes all you need is to get to point B
safely easily and fast. Do you really need heated seats do you really need
a TV in the back its all nice but do you really need it?

and having ACTUAL DATES ON RELEASES
To add to what SBDJ said, as well as being much easier to give release dates for updates, there are also downsides.
If you give a date, you are bound by it, regardless of the state of the software unless you change the date!
So, you make the decision to switch cos of this 15/10/2013 date. On that momentous day you will either be very happy when it works, very angry when it crashes in front of a full dance floor or still waiting.
There is only a 33.33333% chance you could be very happy and a 66.66666% chance you will be a tad frustrated...
Your choice, but it's a gamble.
However, the reality is likely to be that you will keep a foot in both camps and carry on as you are using the right software for the right gig.
Why would you do anything else...?
Cheers,
Roy

That statement came from that article. This can't be true. I don't go to their forum, because so many Serato lovers are here. From the comments on this forum, I thought Serato was perfect, and that all their users were happy. All I heard was how great Serato was. So who's telling the truth? Is this a free upgrade?
As far as all these people saying they knew it was coming, Please.

It's very true. The Serato forum turned from a site full of fanboys to a forum full of moaners who seems to do nothing but winge about the toy that was ITCH, to why Scratch Live was being forgotten about.
And while the detail wasn't know, people did know that a single platform was coming. The DJ industry is surprisingly small.
