Hello to the community, i currently have vdj le and pioneer wego and i am so satisfied from both of them, i bought them for exactly what they do. the only cons is the gain button that lacks the wego and the effects on vdj.
i am one step from buying VDJ pro but i still consider it, i am satisfied with sound quality , usability and confortness. the only problem i seem to have is the damn effects... i use the preinstalled and the delay effect downloaded here.
i heard one effect on an other dj using tracktor that was like killing the song in 1-2 seconds and then stay at low volume. i would like to know if i can use it here , or if there is a similar here? any other ideas about the effects on vdj? what can i do for them?
PS: vdj pro has lifetime updates-upgrades?

The effect you mean sounds like a gate effect, I think. I heard a mate do the same thing, but he used it to make a fake scratching effect.
Yes, there's a gate effect available for download, and I've tried to make VDJ do the same thing, but my MTP doesn't quite have the buttons to do two or more effects at once without mapping.
And yes again, upgrade to Pro, and free updates for life. Plus you'll get a discount for already being an LE user. Access to all the downloads, skins, effects, samples, and there's a wealth of knowledge and clever souls who've been there, done that, fixed that, know what to do when that happens.

I don't use many effects yet but having the Pro version opens up a lot of new features and possibilities. You can be as creative as you can with mapping you're controller to effects. They are always improving the effects as well. I noticed that from downloading when I first came on to VDJ to the improved effects of now.
There are several great group of guys here that could turn you're controller into a mixing(or effects) machine! Yes updates are free so you're really not losing anything by waiting.

Just to be 100% correct. At the moment (and in the past) you get a free update/ upgrade for every pro full version.
That policy will also apply for the new version 8.
As far as I know Atomix will not change this in the near future, but they COULD change it sometime if they want to.
It has never/ nowhere been written down that you have the right to get free updates/ upgrades.
