First im sorry if this is the wrong topic for this but i'm in need of a little help, you see i made a mashup using audacity, sounds pretty sweet but once i come to mix this track, the Beats e.g 4 Bar beat blocks Dont line up.. here is an example below to show more detail.

Does anyone know what causes this?

Cheers if you can help a little!

You can adjust the "phase" of the beat grid. I'm assuming it can be done in LE the same as in Pro.

How would i go about doing that?
assuming LE has that feature.

right click the bpm button

Ahhhh, yeah i see what you mean, it adjusts itself back, but 8 bars later or so it just corrupts again, damn :/

What do you mean by "it corrupts again"?

Has the mashup you made got a steady tempo?

On songs where the BPM drifts up and down, the beat grid will never be correct, because it relies on there only being one steady tempo.

Well, both tracks are 128BPM anyway, but once i had finished putting the parts together i also tried to Set the full track it's self to 128BPM as a whole, but still no luck, confusing me completely.

try mapping this to two separate keys of your keyboard if you can

adjust_cbg -0.125
adjust_cbg +0.125

It should move the grid 1/8 of a bar, or half a beat.

If that doesn't work I'm out of ideas

Are you shure that you did not jump within the beat of the song like:

1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-3-4-1-2-3-4

I'm positive i didnt, is there any other programs good for creating mash-ups?
also, i'll try the key mapping when i get home from work.
