How or where I can rename installed effect in the skins drop-down menu?
Foe example I have effect with too long name TEXZK'S HIGH QUALITY FLANGER V2.0 and this name is there still scroling from left to right and back.
I want shorter name as FLANGERHQ or similiar without any scrolling.

Try changing the .dll name found in your vdj plugins > sound effect folder

Does not work. After selecting the new ddl name from drop-down menu is previous long name back and scrolls again. :-)

Renaming the .dll works only for VST effects or effects that don't specify their name in the SDK.
VirtualDJ native effects, or effects that are made with the official SDK and have their name declared can't be renamed.
