Topic: NS7 MK2 will be native

Hi,

I would like to know if the new NS7 mk2 will be nativly supported when it hits the market (1.st Aug)

Given it's a Serato controller I would doubt it. Generally only controllers supplied with LE are mapped at day one.

Doesn't typically take too long for someone to put out the xml file for hot new stuff. Might take a while before you can just plug n play though. I'm really looking forward to it. DDJSX is nice, but I still prefer my ns7.
 
Pretty much most of the mapping would be similar to the ns7. You could import some if not most of it use them for the basic ones like the spinging platters. It has couple of new things like 4 decks, more cue points or maybe sampler banks, filter knobs, capacitive touch eq. It would be cool if it had dual usb ports for seamless transition between djs. So far they haven't shown the rear view of it.
 
I've seen the back of the new NS7 2. Just spent 30 mins trying to find it again, with no luck. There's a site with different picture then the ones that come up first in google results, just can't seem to find it now. I don't recall seeing 2 usbs on it though. I'll try to look later and post back here if I can find it again.
 
 
Sweet thanks for the pics Jason K, this thing's looking hot. I hope your computer's doing okay. Oh well i guess it would be pretty hard to do something like that. I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why they didn't release the numark x7, the dual usb/pc sync if i remember.

Comp was good. If your talking bout the ddjsx. There seems to be an issue with the ddjsx LEDs and VDJ. Dev team is working on it. I've been wondering if its an issue to some degree on all systems, or just certain setups. They gave me an xml file that worked like a dream, but its not ready for showtime yet. The ns7 is a beast on all the computers I use, so I'm sure once they work out the ddjsx issue it will be a beast too.

I think those pics have been pulled from a lot of sites. The one I posted isn't the one I found it on the first time. I don't think Numark wants people to see the whole unit yet, but that's just speculation on my part.
